We take our cue from Paul, who said, "You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work."
Genesis
The book of Genesis, written by Moses to chronicle the birth of the Nation Israel based on the Abrahamic Covenant.
Many think Genesis is about creation, it is not. Creation is only given 2 chapters out of 50 chapters in the book of Genesis, chapters 1-11 are really introductory chapters for the Abrhamic Covenant given to his chosen nation Israel. Chapter 12 begins the Abrahamic Covenant and the entire rest of the Bible is based on the Abrhamic Covenant. Chapters 12 - 50 are about the details of the establishment of the Nation Isaral and those chapters are the Abrahamic Covenant, which is the foundation of the Kingdom of God on earth.
God's purpose in creation, was to create the Kingdom of God on the earth and heavens he just created!
